Upload a photo of your Japanese collectible and our AI will estimate its condition — the visible flaws it can see, a predicted condition grade, and a reference price range taken from real items in our own store. It is free, takes one form, and the report arrives by email.
How it works
- Upload 1–3 photos of the item (front, back, and any flaw you want checked) and tell us your email address.
- Our AI looks at the images and describes what it can actually see: surface wear, edge and corner condition, box/blister state, paint or seam issues, missing parts, and so on.
- You get an emailed report with a predicted condition grade, the flaws it spotted, and — when we have comparable items — the price range similar pieces are listed at in our store.
Typical turnaround: typically within 12 hours. Reports are generated in batches, so it is not instant — there is nothing to keep open or refresh, the email simply arrives.
What this tool can do
- Describe the visible condition of your item from your photos.
- Suggest a predicted grade band (for example “PSA 7–8 equivalent” for a card, or “B+” for a figure) so you know roughly where your piece sits.
- Point out flaws that collectors and graders usually care about, so you can photograph and describe them honestly when you sell or insure the item.
- Show what comparable items in our own catalogue are priced at, with links, so you have a real reference point rather than a guess.
What this tool cannot do
- It is not an appraisal. It is an automated preliminary estimate produced by a machine-vision model from a handful of photos.
- It is not a grading service. PSA, BGS, CGC and similar grades can only be issued by those independent companies after they physically inspect the item. Any grade we mention is a prediction of what such a grade might be, nothing more.
- It cannot detect what a photo does not show — internal damage, smell, authenticity, restoration, or flaws hidden by angle, lighting or packaging.
- It is not an offer to buy your item and not a guaranteed valuation. Real sale prices move with condition, completeness, rarity and timing.
Privacy
We ask for your email address only so we can send you the report. Your submission is stored privately while the report is being generated and is deleted from our system once the report has been sent. We do not publish it, we do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list. Uploaded photos are kept on our own media server under non-guessable file names so we can re-check a report if you reply to ask about it; tell us in a reply and we will remove them.
Before you upload — get better results
- Shoot in daylight or bright, even light. Avoid direct flash on glossy surfaces.
- Fill the frame with the item; include the whole piece in at least one photo.
- Add a close-up of any corner, edge, seam or scratch you are unsure about.
- For boxed items, show the box and the item, and say in the description whether the seal is intact.
