What makes a spotlight worth reading
We are not looking for the biggest or most expensive shelf. The spotlights people actually read are the ones with a point of view: a collection built around a single sculptor, a run of one franchise across twenty years, a display solved in a small apartment, a hunt that took three years to finish. If you can say in one sentence what ties your collection together, that sentence is usually the spotlight.
Photographing your shelf
Daylight from a window beats a ceiling light, and a plain wall behind the shelf beats a busy room. Shoot straight on rather than from above, take one wide frame of the whole display plus two or three close-ups of pieces you want to talk about, and send the originals rather than screenshots — compression shows badly at full width. Phone photos are completely fine; we are not expecting studio work.

Do I keep the rights to my photos? Yes. You are giving us permission to publish them on this page with credit to your display name, nothing more, and we confirm the exact wording and images with you before anything goes live.
Can I stay anonymous? Yes — pick any display name you like. Your email is only used to reach you and is never published.
Can I ask you to take it down later? Yes. Tell us and we remove it.
Does buying from the store improve my chances? No. Applications are chosen on the collection and the story alone.
