What to send so the estimate is useful
The single biggest factor in how tight an estimate we can give is how much of the item you show us. Photographs of the box on all sides, the item itself out of the box where that is possible, and close-ups of any wear, yellowing or paint transfer let us place it in a condition tier rather than guessing across the whole range. If the release shipped with inserts, a card, a certificate or an assembly sheet, say whether you still have them — completeness moves the number more than most people expect, and it is the detail most requests leave out.
What we compare it against
We start with our own recorded sales of comparable items, because those are prices we can verify rather than asking prices we cannot. Where our own record is thin for a particular release we widen to publicly observable market data and say so in the reply. If the honest answer is that the range is wide, we send the wide range instead of a confident-looking single figure.

Does requesting an estimate commit me to selling? No. This is not an offer to buy and there is no follow-up sales contact.
How is this different from professional grading? Grading companies assign a certified condition grade to an item you send them physically. We are a retailer giving a market-value estimate from photographs — useful for deciding what something is roughly worth, not a substitute for certification.
Can you value a whole collection? Send the most valuable few items first. Long lists get a slower and vaguer reply, which helps nobody.
